Da-Yeh University Hosts Higher Education Sprout Project Presentation and 2026 National SDGs Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship Competition

To implement the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and cultivate talent with a sustainability-oriented vision, Da-Yeh University will organize sustainability-related activities as part of its 2026 Higher Education Sprout Project成果發表會. The program includes project presentations, competitions, and experiential activities, and warmly invites faculty and students from universities across Taiwan to participate and engage in academic exchange and collaborative learning.

2026 National SDGs Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship Competition

Participants are required to propose their own project themes, which must be linked to at least one of the 17 SDGs. Entries should integrate disciplinary expertise, social responsibility, and AI applications, demonstrating creativity and practical design capabilities to develop feasible products or service proposals with potential market value.

Eligibility

The competition is open to all currently enrolled students at universities and colleges across Taiwan. Each team must consist of 2 to 5 members. Cross-departmental, cross-college, and cross-university teams are encouraged. Each team must also be supervised by 1 to 2 faculty advisors.

Competition Format

The competition consists of two stages:

  • Preliminary Round: Document-based review

  • Final Round: Oral presentation

The final competition will be held in the afternoon of December 4, 2026 (Friday) at Da-Yeh University. Teams that fail to attend the final presentation will be disqualified.

The list of finalists is expected to be announced by October 23, 2026.

Awards

Awards will be granted for first, second, and third place, as well as several merit awards. Prize money is as follows:

  • First Prize: NT$30,000

  • Second Prize: NT$15,000

  • Third Prize: NT$10,000

  • Merit Awards: NT$3,000 each

The number of awards may be adjusted depending on the number of entries and overall quality of submissions.

Registration

Both registration and submission of preliminary materials are conducted online. Applicants must complete registration by September 1, 2026 (Tuesday), and upload the required documents, personal data consent form, and preliminary presentation files by September 23, 2026 (Wednesday).

Teams advancing to the final round must upload their final presentation files by 5:00 p.m. on November 25, 2026 (Wednesday).

The university also plans to organize training workshops for participants. Relevant information will be announced on the university homepage or the Office of Institutional Development website.
