About the Center

The Center implements the Ministry of Education’s Talent Cultivation Platform Project for Promoting Industry–Academia Collaboration, administered by the Department of Technological and Vocational Education. The Center supports industry–academia collaboration in two key industrial fields: smart machinery, livelihood technology, and the circular economy.

By introducing industrial resources into academic settings, the Center helps establish a collaborative talent cultivation mechanism in which industry and academia share responsibilities and work together in a coordinated manner. Moving beyond the traditional model of collaboration between a single company and a single institution, the Center develops scalable and replicable working-circle strategies to foster a sustainable, public-interest-oriented ecosystem for industry–academia collaboration.

The Center’s main responsibilities include:

1. Serving as a communication window for industry–academia collaboration and talent cultivation affairs
2. Connecting industry associations, professional organizations, and local governments
3. Integrating professional resources from universities and colleges of technology, as well as technical senior high schools
4. Facilitating collaboration between educational institutions and industry
5. Promoting student internships and organizing professional development programs for teachers
6. Assisting in the introduction of industrial resources to revitalize local schools’ practical training sites
7. Serving as the implementation contact for the Ministry of Education’s Talent Cultivation Platform Project for Promoting Industry–Academia Collaboration
