Committee for Patent Review │ Office of Research and Development

Purpose	YunTech (hereinafter referred to as “the University”) establishes the Patent Review Committee (hereinafter referred to as “the Committee”) in accordance with Article 4 of the Guidelines for the Management of R&D Achievements and Technology Transfer at National Yunlin University of Science and Technology. The Committee is responsible for matters related to the management of faculty and staff research and development outcomes, technology transfer, protection of rights and interests, and remedies for infringements.
Duties and Responsibilities	Review patent applications and matters related to technology transfer. Record and review patent infringement evaluation reports issued by the University. Examine patent infringement cases both within and outside the University. Deliberate on the necessity of maintaining patents for which certificates have been granted. Other related matters.
