Purpose
|
YunTech establishes the Special Education Implementation Committee (hereinafter referred to as “the Committee”) in accordance with Article 15, Paragraph 2 of the Special Education Act to assist students with special education needs in learning and life adaptation, integrate relevant resources, and plan and promote special education initiatives. |

Duties and Responsibilities
|
- Review special education programs or annual work plans.
- Review the allocation, use, and implementation of special education funds.
- Examine individualized support service plans for special cases, including matters related to school transportation, transportation subsidies, and minimum semester credit requirements.
- Review matters related to submitting special cases for special education evaluation.
- Coordinate administrative collaboration among offices, colleges, departments, and institutes, and integrate internal and external special education resources.
- Coordinate departments to provide admission quotas for students with disabilities and ensure appropriate services for University entrance examinations.
- Supervise improvements to campus accessibility and the University’s accessible web pages.
- Oversee self-evaluation and periodic follow-up of special education programs.
- Other matters related to special education.
