Special Education Implementation Committee

Special Education Implementation Committee │ Counseling Center

Purpose
YunTech establishes the Special Education Implementation Committee (hereinafter referred to as “the Committee”) in accordance with Article 15, Paragraph 2 of the Special Education Act to assist students with special education needs in learning and life adaptation, integrate relevant resources, and plan and promote special education initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Review special education programs or annual work plans.

  2. Review the allocation, use, and implementation of special education funds.

  3. Examine individualized support service plans for special cases, including matters related to school transportation, transportation subsidies, and minimum semester credit requirements.

  4. Review matters related to submitting special cases for special education evaluation.

  5. Coordinate administrative collaboration among offices, colleges, departments, and institutes, and integrate internal and external special education resources.

  6. Coordinate departments to provide admission quotas for students with disabilities and ensure appropriate services for University entrance examinations.

  7. Supervise improvements to campus accessibility and the University’s accessible web pages.

  8. Oversee self-evaluation and periodic follow-up of special education programs.

  9. Other matters related to special education.
