The Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC) organizes the “2026 Overseas Youth Mandarin Language Study Program” in collaboration with the Continuing Education Center of Chien Hsin University of Science and Technology. The program aims to enhance overseas youth’s understanding of Taiwanese culture and to provide insights into Taiwan’s national development and achievements.
To strengthen learning outcomes for international participants and promote interaction between domestic students and overseas youth, student counselors will be recruited from universities and colleges in Taiwan. Selected counselors will be responsible for providing daily living support and assisting with program activities throughout the duration of the program.
Program Period:
June 14 to July 11, 2026
June 21, June 28, and July 4 are designated as free days (flexible scheduling). Counselors are required to participate fully for the remaining 25 days.
Selected applicants must also attend a six-day pre-service training program, including:

Benefits for Student Counselors:

Eligibility Requirements:

Basic English listening and speaking skills; proficiency in Indonesian is preferred.

Candidates should demonstrate a strong sense of service and be interested in or capable of leading group activities.
