Recruitment of Student Counselors for Philippine Youth Group
The Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC) has commissioned Chien Hsin University of Science and Technology, Continuing Education Center, to organize the “2026 Overseas Youth Taiwan Study Tour (4th Session)” program. The initiative aims to enhance overseas youth’s understanding of Taiwanese culture, national development, and the technical and vocational education system.
To further strengthen learning outcomes for international participants and promote interaction between domestic students and overseas youth, student counselors will be recruited from universities in Taiwan. Selected candidates will be responsible for providing daily life guidance and support throughout the program and must participate in all related activities.
Program Period
June 14–27, 2026 (14 days, full participation required)
Selected counselors must also attend training sessions (both online and in-person) on May 30 and June 9–13. From June 9 onward, counselors are required to be stationed at the activity venue.
Benefits and Compensation

Accommodation, meals, field visits, and a stipend of NT$18,000 will be provided.

Insurance coverage includes NT$4 million in travel accident insurance and NT$400,000 in accidental medical insurance.

Certificate of Volunteer Service will be issued.

Eligibility Requirements

Current university students or graduates (male or female).

Fluent English listening and speaking skills; proficiency in Filipino languages is preferred.

Prior experience in activities or student organizations is advantageous but not required. Applicants should have strong service motivation and be capable of leading group activities. Skills in photography, video editing, document handling, or first aid are also preferred.
