Information Circular: “Dual Transformation – Carbon Reduction Digital Solutions Selection Briefing Sessions”

The Taipei Computer Association cordially invites faculty members, research teams, startup teams, and partner enterprises to participate in the “Dual Transformation – Carbon Reduction Digital Solutions Selection Briefing Sessions.”

Background

In response to the global net-zero transition trend, the European Union has promoted the European Green Digital Coalition (EGDC) and the Net Carbon Impact Assessment (NCIA) mechanism. These initiatives encourage industries to leverage digital technologies to achieve carbon reduction goals and have become key international development directions.

Event Overview

To support local governments and industries in aligning with international carbon assessment frameworks, the Association will host briefing sessions on June 11–12, 2026, in Taichung and Kaohsiung. The sessions will introduce the EGDC international call for proposals, carbon neutrality methodologies, and global verification mechanisms. Selected cases will have opportunities for free expert evaluation and presentation on an international stage.
