New Arrivals in May: 268 Journals Available at the Library

A total of 342 newly arrived journal issues (268 titles) have been received in May. Faculty, staff, and students are warmly invited to make full use of these resources.

To mark the 100th anniversary of the passing of architect Antoni Gaudí, Barcelona’s Basílica de la Sagrada Família has reached a historic milestone. In February 2026, the central tower of Jesus Christ was completed after 144 years of construction, becoming the tallest church in the world at 172.5 meters. This issue features an in-depth exploration of the basilica, including illustrated explanations of its key architectural highlights and Gaudí’s lasting influence on global architecture.

3. Journal Usage Information

Language Journals

  • CD-ROM copies of language journals are available for borrowing at the 3rd Floor Periodicals Service Desk

  • Service hours: Monday–Friday

    • 08:30–11:30

    • 13:30–16:30

  • Language journals are for in-library use only and not available for loan

  • Please refer to the “Language Learning Journals List” for more information

Borrowing Regulations

  • Loan processing begins 30 minutes before closing at the 1st Floor Circulation Desk

  • Return is required within 2 hours after opening on the following day

  • Overdue fine: NTD 5 per hour

  • Borrowing limits:

    • Faculty, staff, and graduate students: up to 5 items

    • Undergraduate students: up to 2 items
