Ministry of Education – Implementation Plan for the 2026 Drone Soccer Competition

Ministry of Education – Implementation Plan for the 2026 Drone Soccer Competition

1. Overview

The Drone Soccer Competition is the first nationwide competition organized by the Ministry of Education. Through drone soccer competitions aligned with international standards, the initiative aims to guide students in developing skills in flight control, team strategy, and technological innovation. Ultimately, it seeks to cultivate drone technology talent with strong international awareness, hands-on capabilities, innovative thinking, and long-term development potential.

2. Competition Framework

The competition is designed with reference to the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI) World Drone Soccer Championships Sporting Rules (Class F9A-B, 20 cm), released on June 15, 2025.

To meet educational promotion goals and domestic competition requirements, and in alignment with the principles of a non-red supply chain for unmanned aerial vehicles, certain rules have been appropriately adjusted. However, the core concepts and technical standards remain consistent with international competition practices.
