6th Maritime and Port Big Data Creative Application Competition
The iMarine Maritime and Port Development Database, maintained by the Maritime and Port Bureau, consolidates extensive maritime and port-related information and presents it in a visually intuitive and easily accessible format, offering users a convenient one-stop platform for data exploration. To maximize the value of this database, the Bureau is hosting the 6th Maritime and Port Big Data Creative Application Competition, encouraging participants to develop value-added applications using the database and propose solutions that address real-world maritime and port industry needs, thereby promoting sustainable development within the sector.
Competition Registration Information
- Registration Method: Online registration

- Eligibility:
- Student Group: Undergraduate and graduate students from any university or college, including current-year graduates.
- Open Group: Individuals, teams, companies, or public-sector personnel from any professional background.
- Team Requirements:
- Each team may have up to 6 members, and each participant may only join one team.
- Student teams must invite one faculty advisor.
Awards
- Cash Prizes:
- 1st Place: NT$150,000
- 2nd Place: NT$100,000
- 3rd Place: NT$50,000
- Honorable Mention: NT$10,000
- Faculty Advisors of the top 3 student teams: NT$10,000; Honorable Mention: NT$5,000
- Other Awards: Trophies, certificates, competition T-shirts, and participation certificates for finalist teams.
