Congratulations! The student of Industrial Design of National Yunlin University of Science and Technology recevied an award at Electrolux Design Lab 2010. Moreover, she is the only Taiwanese student of the competition.






































Electrolux, from Sweden, is one of the global brands of home appliances makers. It has held Design Lab Competition since 2003. The Taiwanese competition has started since 2009with the help of Sakura agent. The competition calls students of Industrial Design to join this global competition. 

    The 1300 something products of this year are from more than 50 countries, and 39 of them are from Taiwan. Although the Taiwanese student could not compete till the final one, the product of Kai-We Li who is from National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, was chosen as the top 25 with her "A Laundry." They hope there will be more excellent students coming to participate in this competition and bring the first prize back to Taiwan.

    In order to reward the student, the Associate Manager of Sakura came to YunTech to award a medal and 30000 dollars to Kai-Wen Li and her advisor Fu-Shoun Ye. Also, he hoped there would be more cooperation between the school and the industry.
