The university had outstanding performance in the industry-academic cooperation and research development in 2005, with a subsidy of approximately NT$570,000,000. The average annual output value of each teacher was about NT$1,790,000, which ranked within the first ten in Taiwan. In 2006, the annual output value of each teacher increased to NT$1,980,000.
