Professor, LIN Tay-Jou was invited to play his videos by Experimental Documentary at Taiwan International Documentary Festival 2012 in the NTMOFA (National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts).

The works are as below──"The Willow River", "Afterimage", "A Piece of Work for Myself".

1. "The Willow River"-broadcasting on 15:00, 20th Oct. 2012, at Media Art Center

In 1934, an anonymous naked female body was flowed down to the Willow River Bridge in downtown Taichung. People gathered on the bridge but no one dared to be closer. An eight-year-old girl felt pity for the dead and then took off her only shirt to cover the body. A boy witnessed the course of event that day and just couldn't forget about the little girl. Years later, the boy becomes an old man now and tries to find the girl along the Willow River. So the fable between Taichung and the female begins.

2. "Afterimage" – broadcasting on 15:00, 20th Oct. 2012, at Media Art Center

What is an image for? Evoke the death, extend the memory, gaze the tediousness, or be the fracture interpretation of beginning and recurrence? This is a short film about old family photos.

3. "A Piece of Work for Myself"- broadcasting on 15:00, 20th Oct. 2012

The film imparts a message about death to the audience by using a projection technique to reflect the image of death. The director uses the camera to present his will, after death, in an artistic abstractive format. It is a ritual ceremony self-portrayed in a language of darkness.
