According to the university, the intelligent system and control laboratory led by Zhong-Peng Su is most renowned for its self-controlled research and development and application of autonomous unmanned aerial vehicle. The unmanned vehicle integrates self-developed flight control computers and multi-sensor networks and has functions including self-designated cruise, automatic hovering and instant remote monitoring. The research achievement has academic and military significance. “During the competition, both master and thesis students have undergone solid theoretical and practical training. Our research has won support from National Science Council and Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology. The prize is another recognition from the industry,” said Zhong-Peng Su. |
