YunTech’s College of Management Becomes Global Top 5% Business School Accredited by the AACSB

 The College of Management of National Yunlin Science & Technology University (YunTech) recently is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and becomes the member of the top 5% business school in the world.  The College of YunTech is not only the tenth accredited business school in Taiwan but also the first college of management of national university in middle of Taiwan who gets the accreditation.

 

The College of Management became the AACSB’s member in 2007, thereby applied for the Advance Collegiate Schools of Business in 2009, and finally attained the accreditation on May this year.  The College dedicated to formulate and revise the College’s core value, strategies, learning goals, and learning objectives, which in turn, improve the quality of students’ learning, the capacity of faculty members’ teaching and research in the past six years.  The College is also grateful for the excellent performance of alumni relationship, student’s domestic and/or abroad internship, and the industry counseling supports. Thus, the approval and encouragement were given by the accreditation of AACSB throughout the efforts that the College has made.

 

In the accreditation of AACSB, the College of Management has framed and developed three strategies, i.e., excellent teachings, experiential learnings, and global views, which are appreciated and gained strongly supports by the Peer Review Team of AACSB.  Moreover, the teaching achievement, completely industrial internship, industrial-academic cooperation and international academic exchange programs are also deeply identified and recognized by the members of Peer Review Team in the accrediting process.  Naturally, the achieving initial accreditation will encourage the College strides forward to the “learner centered” teaching vision and positions itself as a leading business school of leading-edge in teaching, applied research and practice in Taiwan and in the Asia-Pacific region.
