[On-Campus] Emergency Financial Assistance

I. Eligibility

All enrolled students of the University who are experiencing financial hardship due to any of the following circumstances may apply:

1. Serious injury, death, or major illness resulting in substantial medical expenses.

2. Sudden and significant changes in family circumstances.

3. Other emergency situations requiring immediate financial assistance.

II. Important Notes

1. Applications must be submitted within six (6) months from the date the incident occurred.

2. Applicants may include the student, parent(s), academic advisor, or other faculty members.

3. Applications are processed by the Student Counseling and Guidance Section, Office of Student Affairs.

4. Required documents include:

   • Application form

   • Household registration transcript issued within the past three months

   • Proof of current enrollment

   • Certificate of financial hardship or low-/middle-income household status

   • Other relevant supporting documents

International students requiring emergency assistance should contact the International Office for assistance in compiling documents before referral to the Office of Student Affairs.

[Ministry of Education] Student Relief Fund – Emergency Grant

I. Eligibility

1. Undergraduate students under the age of 25 who are currently enrolled.

2. Total household income in the most recent fiscal year does not exceed NTD 1,000,000, and total declared real estate value does not exceed NTD 10,000,000 (calculated based on the student and both parents).

II. Important Notes

1. Applications must be submitted within three (3) months from the date the incident occurred.

2. The student must apply personally.

3. Review process:

   • Initial review: Student Counseling and Guidance Section, Office of Student Affairs

   • Final review: Chaoyang University of Technology

4. Required documents include:

   • Application form

   • Household registration transcript issued within the past three months (including parents, student, and siblings, with full registration notes)

   • Proof of current enrollment

   • Income and property statements for the student and parents (or legal guardians) for the most recent fiscal year

   • Other relevant supporting documents

**[On-Campus] Student Stabilized Study Assistance Program

(Unemployment of Parent or Legal Guardian)**

I. Eligibility

1. One parent or legal guardian of the student has experienced involuntary unemployment for a continuous period exceeding one (1) month but not more than six (6) months.

2. Total household income in the most recent fiscal year does not exceed NTD 1,140,000, calculated based on the student and parents or legal guardian.

II. Important Notes

1. Applications must be submitted within six (6) months from the date the incident occurred.

2. The student must apply personally.

3. Applications are processed by the Student Counseling and Guidance Section, Office of Student Affairs.

4. Required documents include:

   • Application form

   • Household registration transcript issued within the past three months

   • Income statements for the student and parents (or legal guardian) for the most recent fiscal year

   • Proof of involuntary unemployment

Each emergency incident may be applied for once per household only.
Students who are on leave of absence, withdrawn, or graduated are not eligible to apply.
