Faculty Recruitment Announcement
Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering, National Yunlin University of Science and Technology
The Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering, National Yunlin University of Science and Technology (Yuntech), is seeking to recruit three full-time faculty members.
1. Qualifications
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree from a domestic or international university in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related fields. Candidates should be capable of teaching fundamental courses offered by the department and conducting instruction in English.
In addition, applicants are required to have at least one year of full-time industry experience in relevant fields. This requirement does not apply to full-time qualified teachers who were already employed before the implementation of the Technical and Vocational Education Act (January 14, 2015).
2. Application Materials
Applicants should prepare the following documents in order and secure them with a binder clip. Please do not bind or hard-cover the materials.

Copies of academic and professional certificates, including the highest degree certificate

Copies of undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral transcripts

Abstracts of master’s and doctoral theses

List of major publications, patents, and copies of SCI-indexed journal papers
-
List of research projects and industry-academia collaboration projects, including funding information
-
Academic achievement scoring table and journal ranking scoring details (as provided in the application form)

Teaching plan, research plan, or industry collaboration proposal

Professional certifications and relevant qualifications (including language proficiency certificates), with supporting documents

At least two recommendation letters (required if shortlisted for the second-round interview)

Declaration form regarding possession of household registration, passport, ID card, residence permit, or residence certificate from Mainland China (if applicable)

Signed affidavit (declaration form)
3. Appointment Date
Successful candidates will be appointed starting from the second semester of the 2026 academic year.

5. Additional Notes

Applicants without a teacher’s certificate must also submit transcripts of their highest degree.

Applicants holding foreign degrees must have their diplomas and transcripts authenticated by a Taiwanese overseas mission and provide entry/exit records issued by the National Immigration Agency.

Applicants with foreign work experience must also provide authenticated verification documents issued by a Taiwanese overseas mission.
