Scholarship Announcement: 2026 Taiwan–Austria Higher Education Research Seed Fund

June 18, 2026 (Thursday), 12:00 noon
Eligibility
- Applicants must be ROC (Taiwan) nationals with household registration in Taiwan.
- Applicants must meet one of the following conditions:
- Currently enrolled undergraduate, master’s, doctoral students, or postdoctoral researchers at public or private universities in Taiwan in relevant fields (must provide an enrollment certificate specifying admission date, degree level, and research field).
- Students eligible for government financial aid categories, including low-income households, lower-middle-income households, students with disabilities or children of persons with disabilities, students from disadvantaged family backgrounds, indigenous students, or recipients of MOE student assistance programs (excluding part-time or in-service programs). Priority will be given in case of equal evaluation scores.
Application Requirements
Applicants who have obtained admission to the MCI – The Entrepreneurial School Short-Term Program (Austria partner university) must submit the following documents by the deadline to the Office of International Affairs (1F, opposite the student cafeteria):
- Admission or exchange acceptance letter from the Austrian partner university
- Foreign language proficiency certificate
- Study or exchange proposal (including topic, structure, methodology, problem analysis, and expected outcomes)
- Full academic transcripts (undergraduate level and above) and records of outstanding achievements (awards, honors, etc.)
Research Fields
Natural sciences, engineering and technology, business, and management.
