Michigan State University is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2026 VIPP (Visiting International Professional Program) Global Summer School, with the application deadline set for June 15, 2026.
The VIPP Global Summer School welcomes undergraduate students from around the world to the beautiful campus of Michigan State University. The program offers participants an immersive experience of U.S. university life at a world-class institution, while strengthening professional competencies and intercultural communication skills.
Designed as a fully immersive academic and cultural program, VIPP integrates innovative, practice-oriented, and project-based learning approaches. The curriculum includes classroom instruction, expert lectures, cultural activities, and field trips to notable locations across Michigan, including Detroit, Ann Arbor, and the scenic Lake Michigan shoreline and dune regions.
During the summer term, VIPP also hosts the German Fulbright Summer Institute, bringing together German university students in a prestigious international academic program. VIPP participants will have opportunities to study, collaborate, and interact with students from both the Fulbright program and MSU’s domestic student community, fostering meaningful cross-cultural exchange and international friendships.
