Funding Categories and Eligible Applicants:

1. Funding Categories:
   • Short-Term Study: Enroll in courses or earn credits at foreign universities, secondary schools, businesses, or institutions.
   • Exchange Students: Study abroad at partner universities, secondary schools, businesses, or institutions in accordance with home institution mechanisms.
   • Study Tours: Apply independently to study abroad at universities, secondary schools, businesses, or institutions.
   • Internships: Apply independently for internships at universities, businesses, or institutions abroad.
   • Other Activities: Participate in international performances, competitions, arts, science, or vocational activities, or activities organized in cooperation with the County Government’s Department of Education international exchange programs.
2. Eligible Applicants:
   • Students who are citizens of Nantou County and enrolled in public or private universities, including master’s and doctoral programs.

Application Procedure:
Applicants must submit six copies of all required documents to the Office of International Affairs, 1st Floor, by 12:00 PM on Monday, April 27, 2026:

1. Original Student Application Form
2. Copy of household registration certificate issued within the last three months
3. Proof of low-income or lower-middle-income student status (original or copy)
4. Academic transcripts (original or copy)
5. Consent or cooperation agreement from the foreign university, business, or institution
6. Proof of foreign language proficiency (original or copy, with Chinese translation)
7. Letter of recommendation from a professor (optional; will be used for additional scoring)
8. Other supporting documents (e.g., awards or international competition achievements)
9. Original Overseas Study Plan
10. Declaration Form
11. Consent Form

Applications that do not comply with the required format, or that are incomplete, will not be accepted.
