To cultivate entrepreneurial competencies among faculty and students and to promote the commercialization of research and development outcomes, the Office of Research and Development is offering a startup subsidy program. A series of entrepreneurship training courses will also be organized to provide strong support for the entrepreneurial journey of the university community.

Eligibility

Limited to faculty and students of the university.
Each team must include at least one faculty member and two or more students.
For teams including graduating students, the number of non-graduating student members must still be at least two.

Jade (Puyu) Teams

Benefits

• Each team will receive a subsidy of NT$50,000 (funds managed by the supervising faculty advisor).
• Free access to entrepreneurship training courses.

Obligations

• Full participation in all entrepreneurship-related activities organized by the Office of Research and Development, including training courses and the university anniversary R&D exhibition.
• Completion of a business plan.
• Participation in at least five external entrepreneurship competitions in fiscal year 2026.
• Submission of a final report and activity photo documentation.

Student Startup Teams

Benefits

• Each team will receive a subsidy of NT$100,000 (funds managed by the supervising faculty advisor).
• Free access to entrepreneurship training courses.

Obligations

• Full participation in all entrepreneurship-related activities organized by the Office of Research and Development, including training courses and the university anniversary R&D exhibition.
• Completion of a business plan.
• Participation in at least five external entrepreneurship competitions in fiscal year 2026.
• Submission of a final report and activity photo documentation.
• Completion of company registration by October 31, 2026.

Application Requirements

Teams are also required to attend a review meeting and present their proposal to the evaluation committee (meeting date to be announced separately). Final subsidy eligibility will be confirmed upon passing the review.
