2. Key Program Details

(A) Eligible Applicants and Implementing Units

Schools may purchase widely used commercial drones for demonstration, surveying, monitoring, spraying, transport, or other innovative applications.

  • Schools must submit a talent development plan including drone application scenarios, course planning, and equipment or licensing practice requirements.

  • Funding Limit: up to NT$10 million per year

3. Additional Scoring Criteria: Applications may receive additional points if:

  • The school applies for regional competitions and promotional activities and simultaneously submits a technical and talent development plan

  • The school develops or uses non-Red Supply Chain drones weighing 25 kg or more

  • The school develops fixed-wing drones (including VTOL) with a maximum takeoff weight of 5 kg or more (excluding model aircraft)

(C) Program Duration

  1. From the date of MOE approval until December 31, 2028, with funding approved on an annual basis.

  2. Schools may apply for one-year or multi-year plans according to their proposals.
