2026 Academic Year Technological and Vocational Education Joint Entrance Examination (Four-Year and Two-Year Programs), Yunlin Examination Area
The 2026 Academic Year Technological and Vocational Education Joint Entrance Examination for four-year and two-year programs will be held on April 25 (Saturday) and April 26 (Sunday). The Yunlin Examination Area is organized by National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, with two test sections located at National Yunlin University of Science and Technology and National Formosa University. A total of 48 standard examination rooms and 3 special examination rooms have been arranged, serving 1,638 candidates.
At 8:00 AM on April 25, the “Examination Site Layout Map” and “Examination Room Assignment List” will be posted at the main entrances of both test section campuses. These materials are provided to help candidates familiarize themselves with the examination environment and room locations. The examination areas will also open at 8:00 AM that morning. Candidates may proceed to the corridors outside the examination rooms to confirm their assigned seating; however, entry into the examination rooms will not be permitted. Candidates are strongly advised to carefully verify their admission ticket number and examination room location in advance to avoid confusion or entering the wrong room.
All examination rooms will be equipped with air conditioning, with temperatures set between 26°C and 28°C as a general guideline. The Testing Center emphasizes that air conditioning is provided as a service measure. In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as power outages or equipment malfunctions that cannot be promptly resolved, examination staff will open doors and windows or use electric fans to maintain ventilation, and the examination will proceed as scheduled. Under such conditions, candidates may not request a change of examination room, additional points, or extended testing time.
Air conditioning will remain in operation throughout the entire examination period, including breaks between sessions and the lunch interval. Candidates may remain in the examination room to rest until the next session begins, prior to the distribution of test papers by proctors. Those who are sensitive to temperature variations are advised to bring appropriate clothing for warmth. As examination rooms may be relatively enclosed when air conditioning is in use, candidates should pay close attention to all preparatory, start, and end signals (bells). In particular, candidates must stop writing immediately when the end-of-examination signal sounds; failure to do so will be reported as a violation.
