Notice: Campus Indoor Environmental Disinfection Prior to the Start of the 2026 Academic Year

To maintain a safe and healthy campus environment before the start of the 2026 Academic Year, the University will conduct indoor environmental disinfection in all campus buildings from Monday, August 24, to Friday, August 28, 2026.

The detailed disinfection schedule for each building is provided in the attached document. All departments and units are kindly requested to cooperate with the arrangements below.

Departmental Cooperation

1. Schedule Coordination

Please refer to the attached disinfection schedule and avoid arranging meetings, classes, construction work, or other activities during the designated time slots to ensure the disinfection work can proceed smoothly.

2. Access Arrangements

Please assign personnel to remain on site during the scheduled disinfection period to assist contractors with opening and locking doors. This will allow access to offices, classrooms, laboratories, research rooms, training workshops, and other indoor facilities.

Please note that areas that cannot be accessed will not be disinfected.

3. Preparations Before Disinfection

Before the disinfection work begins, please:

  • Turn off the central air-conditioning system.
  • Disable fire alarm systems, including smoke detectors.
  • Properly store or cover drinking water, food, and eating utensils.
  • If pets or aquariums are kept in the area, please follow the instructions provided in the official notice.

4. During and After Disinfection

  • Do not enter the treatment area while disinfection is in progress.
  • After the work is completed, it is recommended to wait at least two hours before re-entering the area, depending on any remaining odor or site conditions.
  • Open windows and doors or operate the ventilation or air-conditioning system to improve air circulation before resuming normal use.
