Call for Proposals: 2026 Sustainable Development and Social Practice Impact Initiative

Sustainable development is not merely a global trend—it is a shared social responsibility. National Yunlin University of Science and Technology (YunTech) is committed to integrating sustainability with social practice through education and innovative action, responding to local needs and advancing the University Social Responsibility (USR) mission. We cordially invite faculty and students across the University to participate in the 2026 Sustainable Development and Social Practice Impact Initiative, and to work together toward a more inclusive and sustainable future.

Program Objectives

• Talent Development
  Cultivate individuals with sustainability literacy and strong capacities for local engagement and practice.

• Addressing Local Challenges
  Collaborate with communities, government agencies, enterprises, and NGOs to develop innovative solutions to real-world issues.

• Creating Social Impact
  Translate academic expertise into concrete action to generate lasting and sustainable social value.

Application Information

• Application Deadline: Now through March 16, 2026 (Monday), 23:59

• Announcement of Selected Proposals: Within 1–2 weeks after the application deadline

• Project Completion Deadline: By December 20, 2026

Funding Categories

(Funding amounts are determined based on the approved project category.)

• Teaching-Based Projects
  Up to NTD 40,000 for course development, sustainable practice sites, and related instructional activities.

• Collaborative Projects
  NTD 10,000 for domestic interdisciplinary or inter-university collaborative initiatives.

• Patent and Product Development Projects
  NTD 10,000 to support the development of sustainability-oriented products.
