Emblem & Motto

The university emblem is formed from the letter “Y”, taken from the English abbreviation of the university name, YunTech. 
  The design features a radiating structure that embodies both inward convergence and outward expansion; inward convergence symbolizes technological integration and team harmony, while outward expansion represents diversified development and service to society.
    
 

The overall design symbolizes the university’s educational philosophy of balancing theory with practice and integrating technology with the humanities.
 

The emblem is presented in teal, a color that conveys rationality, sincerity, trust, calmness, wisdom, and innovation.
It also symbolizes the university motto, “Integrity, Respect, Perseverance, and Innovation.”
